Indigenous Nationalities National Journalism Awardees announced

KATHMANDU: The 'Indigenous Nationalities National Journalism Award' for this year has been announced. The award is being presented to journalist Gopal Dewan (Sunsari, print media), Anil Gurung, Kathmandu (Online), Raju Chaudhary, Chitwan (Television) and Apsara Samal, Udayapur (Radio). Likewise, 'Bungwakha' a monthly magazine, published in Kathmandu, will be honoured with 'FoNIJ Mother Tongue Journalism Award-2079' which is presented by the Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Nationalities Journalists. Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, FoNIJ shared that Founder Chairperson of FoNIJ, Chandra Singh Kulung and former Chairpersons—Khim Ghale and Mohan Singh Lama — will be felicitated. The awards will be presented on the occasion of the 23rd establishment day of FoNIJ on August 12 in Kathmandu. By RSS READ ALSO:
