Industry Minister Rijal insists on increasing domestic production

PARSA: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal has said the import-based economy will never take the country to the path of prosperity. Addressing an inaugural session of the fourth National Convention of Nepal Beauticians Association in Birgunj, on Friday, Minister Rijal stressed the need for increasing domestic production and consumption to downsize the volume of imports and opined that a production-oriented economy was the path towards the destination of prosperity. Minister Rijal, who is also Nepali Congress central member, opined that over-ambition among political leaders and cadres would weaken the democracy. By RSS READ ALSO:
