FNCCI International Investment Promotion Committee organised an interactive event on October 26 at its Secretariat with an objective to share knowledge, views, perspectives and recommendations and suggestions to accelerate the promotion of investment in ICT sector of Nepal.
The event commenced with opening remarks from Shekhar Golchha, Senior Vice-President of FNCCI, under the tag line, ‘‘Facilitating Nepalese Business To Become Globally Competitive’. The interaction was moderated by Ranjit Acharaya, CEO of Prisma Advertising.
Prominent speakers from the ICT sector of Nepal were invited to take their place among the panels to give insight and discuss ideas on the potential and opportunities of foreign investment in the country’s ICT sector.
Among the panelists present were Dr. Mahabir Pun, Founder of National Innovation Center/Nepal Wireless; Sixit Bhatta, Co-founder and CEO of Tootle Today; Biswas Dhakal, President of F1Soft International (eSewa); Upendra Pradhan, Director of Verisk Nepal; Richan Shrestha, Senior Vice President of Leapfrog Technology Inc.; John Snowden, General Manager of Cloud Factory and Amun Thapa, CEO of Sasto Deal.
