KATHMANDU: Hyatt Place Kathmandu has launched a series of live Jazz nights at its cozy, poolside, open-sky bar, Zing-Sky Bar & lounge to complement the beautiful weather of autumn. The event named “A Pinch of Jazz” is set to take all Jazz music lovers on a thrill ride every Friday, from 7:00 pm onwards.
In the true spirit of spontaneity, the event featured a jam session by Maria Fajardo Quintet, a band of five Jazz enthusiasts. While Maria took the audience on a journey through the American Songbook, Javi Merino, Abhisek Bhadra, Pratick Baniya and Prajwal Sunar made them groove in live improvised Jazz music.
The Sky Bar offered a curated drink menu that perfectly set mood for the night and a wide selection of food from its newly launched menu. The venue was full of guests who all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere.
“I got a big kick when the band started playing! The talent clearly prevails. And the atmosphere made me forget the hectic week,” one of the guests shared. “My Friday night is going to be the Jazz night onwards,” he added.
A Pinch of Jazz is an open-door event.
