Jyoti Bikash Bank provides baby warmers to five health institutions

KATHMANDU: Jyoti Bikash Bank has recently provided baby warmers to the five health institutions — Lipani Birta Health Post, Parwanipur; Hetauda Hospital, Hetauda; ​​Betini Community Health Post, Phaparbari; Chandranigahapur Hospital, Chandranigahapur and Inaruwa Hospital, Sunsari. The baby warmers were produced by the National Innovation Centre in the country. The bank provided baby warmers to the health institutions through 'Hamro Bikash Pravardhan' fund established by the bank as a corporate social responsibility. [gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file" ids="18165"] The baby warmers were formally handed over by officials of Jyoti Bikash Bank in the presence of officials of the health institutions. During the handover programmes, special training for the operation of baby warmers was also provided to the doctors, nurses and other staff of the health institutes. [gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file" ids="18163"] Jyoti Bikash Bank has been working on social responsibility through its 'Hamro Bikash Pravardhan' fund in association with various social organisations and citizens, guided by the basic objective of identifying the latent potentials in the society at the local level and exposing such potentials. [gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file" ids="18164"] On the occasion of Jyoti Bikash Bank's 13th anniversary, the bank provided assistance to the National Innovation Centre's "Warm Baby" Project-2 promoted by Dr Mahabir Pun for the cooperation of making 12 baby warmers and handing them over to various rural and inaccessible health institutions in the country. [gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file" ids="18166"] Prior to this, Jyoti Bikash Bank in collaboration with National Innovation Center has already provided 10 baby warmers to different health institutions. Kapilvastu Community Hospital, Kapilvastu; Madhyabindu District Hospital, Nawalpur; Mahakali Zonal Hospital, Kanchanpur; Pyuthan District Hospital, Pyuthan; Primary Health Centre, Mahottari; Amda Hospital, Jhapa; District Hospital, Khotang; SamariHealth Post, Nuwakot, Beni Hospital, Myagdi and Burtibang Primary Health Centre, Baglung, each one received a baby warmer. Jyoti Bikash Bank is currently providing services through 105 branch offices, one extension counter and 62 ATMs. READ ALSO:
