Kathmandu Marriott's week-long Dominican food festival to conclude today

KATHMANDU: The Dominican Republic Food Festival being hosted by Kathmandu Marriott Hotel will conclude today.  The culinary richness and vibrant flavours of the Dominican Republic have tantalised taste buds in Nepal.

The festival commenced with great honour at the inauguration dinner of the Consulate of the Dominican Republic in Nepal, Gaurav Agarwal, an event graced by the presence of David Puig, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in India and the Chief Guest, Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud. This auspicious launch on November 20, 2023, marked a significant milestone, celebrating the cultural ties between the Dominican Republic and Nepal.

Kathmandu Marriott Hotel organised the exclusive Dominican Master Class conducted by Chef Addys Jacquez on November 26, 2023, hosted at Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu. This exceptional opportunity invited participants to delve deeper into the art of Dominican cooking, offering insights, techniques, and hands-on experiences to craft and savour authentic Dominican flavours.

Food enthusiasts have an opportunity for an authentic and diverse gastronomic experience featuring an array of traditional Dominican dishes meticulously prepared by Chef Addys Jacquez.
