KGH Group, Nepal’s first home-grown chain of hotels, receives six prestigious South Asian Travel Awards held in Amari Galle, Sri Lanka this year. The South Asian Travel Awards has been recognising the best of South Asia’s hospitality and travel industry since 2016. The prestigious annual event honours stellar organisations and individuals in a wide array of categories in different locations in South Asia. This is the Group’s second time winning SATA Awards. Last year, they won five awards in Taj Palace, Mumbai. This year KGH Group won six out of 12 awards for Nepal. The six awards are Leading Boutique Hotel, Nepal – Maya Manor Boutique Hotel; Leading Heritage Hotel, Nepal – Kathmandu Guest House; Leading Food and Beverage Resort, Nepal – Waterfront Resort; Most Romantic Hotel, Nepal – Himalayan Front Hotel; Best CSR Program, Nepal – Himalayan Front Hotel; and Leading Business Hotel, Nepal – Kathmandu Guest House. Other hotels that won include Temple Tree Resort and Spa, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, Barahi Jungle Lodge.
