KMC starts inoculating population aged 12-17 against Covid 19

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) today started inoculating the population in the age group of 12 to 17 years with the first dose of Pfizer vaccine as the infection fueled by the Omicron variant has continued to grip the country. The KMC has urged the targeted group to visit the vaccination centres established at schools and other places in all 32 wards and receive the vaccines. The students have been urged to bring identity cards that mention their date of birth. The first dose of Pfizer vaccines will be administered from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm until January 24. The ongoing vaccination drive targets group born between mid-November to mid-December from 2004 to 2009. The vaccination is being conducted as per the decision taken by the District Level Vaccination Coordination and Monitoring Committee, Kathmandu, on January 9. READ ALSO:
