KU’s LIKE hosts knowledge exchange event in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Learning, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (LIKE) under the Kathmandu University School of Arts (KUSOA)  organised a knowledge exchange event in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, on February 28. Organisations involved in the field of education were brought together to share their ongoing programmes, interventions, and practices. Representatives of various organisations including ASER Nepal, Aasaman Nepal (ASN), Teach For Nepal, Karkhana, Save the Children, Street Child of Nepal, OXFAM IBIS, and officials of United World Schools attended the programme. Two representatives from the LIKE spoke on “Effectiveness and Scalability of Programmes for Children Who are Out of School and at Risk of Dropping Out in Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal” at the event and discussed their interventions, which included lobbying through the Action Group for Out of School Children and extracurricular activities (ECA) after school. Representatives from Save the Children, Aasaman Nepal, ASER Nepal, Karkhana, and Street Child of Nepal shared about continuing their initiatives to bring students into schools. The event organised by the social science lab served as a forum for people to share knowledge, make comments, and work together. READ ALSO:
