Landslide obstructs Sisneri road in Makawanpur

BAGMATI: Sisneri road in Makawanpur district leading to the Kathmandu valley has been obstructed due to a landslide triggered by incessant rain since Sunday night. As a result, transportation has been disrupted, according to Bhimphedi Area Police Office. So, a diversion has been created for vehicles and pedestrians to lead to Kathmandu through Hetauda-Bhimphedi, it added. The landslide occurred at Ramchandra Bhanjyang in Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3 of Makawanpur district. Efforts from the local government and the Department of Roads are underway to clear the obstructed road, said Inspector Pratima Karki. By RSS READ ALSO:
