Mangalam Industries holds technicians’ meet, prize distribution ceremony

KATHMANDU: Mangalam Industries, Nepal’s first CPVC pipes and fittings manufacturer, and pioneer producer and exporter of polymer piping systems, has recently held a technician's meeting and prize distribution ceremony in Itahari, Sunsari district. The programme was organized to motivate the technicians, according to the company. In the programme, prizes were distributed to technicians according to their performances in last year's scheme and various other presents were also distributed. The company's Assistant Vice President, Sumit Sharma, informed that the technicians won two 125 cc and one 150 cc Pulsar motorcycle. Six others won laptops, six others received TV sets and 10 others received 1 tola of gold each. Sharma said that the programme was conducted under the Technician Incentive Programme (via Coupon) and added other such programmes will be held in the future. About 50 technicians active in the field were present at the programme. All Mangalam products are made in Nepal using high-quality Japanese raw materials and state-of-the-art German technology. The company which has the largest laboratory in the country has been producing all kinds of pipes and fittings required for construction work.
