In this edition of Business 360, he shares the five things that have impacted his work and life.

FIVE THINGS THAT HAVE IMPACTED MY WORK AND LIFE

Mind
Even as a child, I loved to use my mind and that means I enjoy thinking from different aspects about several things. My mind allows me to study a lot. I am already pursuing my third Masters degree and still have the same hunger to learn. I like meeting people, travelling, observing and reading. We don’t need conventional class rooms to learn, we can learn and think anytime.
Work
I always question my close friends and myself again and again if life is a matter of survival.  I don’t believe in just surviving to sustain this life, I believe in contributing and creating a legacy.  I really enjoy working hard. I am currently associated with five different organisations in senior positions, and I enjoy the challenges work offers me.
Relationship
Relationship creates emotions, sometimes happiness and sometimes tears. It is the reason for me to come back home and prepare for the world. I have a four year old son named Pratyush which means a new beginning. My relationship with my son is an example of the value of relationships in my life. I see things with more joy and because of my relationships I see things from different perspectives.
Soul
Talking to my soul is very important to me. I perceive myself as a soul and also consider everyone as human souls. Singing songs, writing poetry, good food, friends are important because these have a direct relationship with the soul.
I also have some special relationships in life are like a direct connection with my soul. When I talk with them, I feel like I am talking with myself… and I know that they understand me more than I do myself sometimes.
Outcome
I am an outcome oriented person but not a process oriented person. I have seen lots of people who are more focused on how they do their business but I am focused on what will be the result.  I do care about perfection but without wasting much time on process. My stand and standard is important but it has to be outcome oriented.
