NBI and Manipal Global Education have come together to provide the best of training to the new generation. The training is likely to take place in Pokhara with innovative teaching methods. The training institute will be fully residential offering three months full-time programme on various areas of banking and management disciplines. The numbers of students are yet to be finalised. Currently, they are working on 30-40 students model. On completion of the training, students will be absorbed immediately. “The programme model which is hugely practiced in India is new to Nepal. I believe this banking model would be more sustainable as students are trained in a similar environment, culture and values. This is probably new in the industry and seems very fruitful,” said Sanjib Subba, EO of NBI.
“A corporate university setup, the institute will address the need for quality training of prospective employees at different bank levels in Nepal before being fully absorbed at the bank.
