NEA MD Ghising, Birgunj Metropolis Mayor Singh discuss electricity problems

KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority Managing Director Kul Man Ghising and Birgunj Metropolis Mayor Rajeshman Singh discussed problems seen in electricity supply in the metropolis. Mayor Singh met Ghising and NEA, Birgunj Distribution Centre Chief in Kathmandu on Wednesday and briefed about the existing problems related to electricity. On the occasion, the Metropolis Mayor urged Ghising to immediately resolve the problem of irregular power supply taking place in Birgunj. Mayor Singh discussed various issues like the fifth wire installation for the management of street lights in Birgunj, underground wire management, shifting high-tension lines on the houses in Panitanki area and shifting the high-tension line of Bypass Inarwa area. Mayor Singh's Personal Secretary, Satya Raj Ghimire said NEA Managing Director assured that Birgunj Distribution Centre would forward the activity to take it in process in order to resolve such problems.
