Nepal Bicycle Expo-2022 being held in Thamel, Kathmandu today

A A- A+
KATHMANDU: Nepal Bicycle Expo-2022 is taking place at Chhaya Centre in Thamel, Kathmandu today. The bicycle expo is being organised with the objective of bringing together different cycle communities in the country where the participants and visitors could exchange knowledge about cycles and learn about various services including insurance, and hire purchase schemes offered to the cyclists, according to organisers. The exhibition is being jointly organised by Sonam Jangbu Sherpa and Ajay Narsingh Rana, an avid cyclist and also the national cycling coach. In the past few years, the bicycle industry has witnessed growth globally. Likewise, Nepal also experienced a surge in demand for bicycles. The increase in cycling activities ranging from commuting to racing is encouraging not only for the business but also to see how the health and wellness advocacy is spreading. This positive growth can be taken to new levels if all the stakeholders are brought into a single roof for a day, the organisers of the event have shared. From bicycle to bicycle advocacy the convergence of all the stakeholders will give the general public a better understanding of the bicycle industry in Nepal. With this goal in mind, a one-day bicycle expo is being held at Chhaya Centre, today. The expo will remain open till 6:00 pm. Prior to this, Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC) had organised the first cycle expo in Thamel, Kathmandu, on March 13 last year. READ ALSO:
