Nepal’s first tile brand Nepovit unveiled

KATHMANDU: Nepal Ceramic Industries unveiled Nepovit brand tiles at a function organised in Kathmandu on April 22. Nepovit is the first brand of tiles produced in the country. The Nepovit tiles were unveiled at the function in presence of actor Rajesh Hamal and dealers from across the country. The company aims to produce and provide attractive and quality tiles to customers in Nepal. Nepovit has been established to produce tiles in the country as the import of foreign tiles has significantly increased of late. At the function, actor Hamal announced that he is the goodwill ambassador for Nepovit and discussed the quality of the tiles, their impact on the market and its hi-tech factory. The tiles are made using the best raw material with Italian technology. The tiles available in various designs including Phewa, Danfe and rhododendron can be used in cottages as well as commercial buildings. Chairman of Nepovit, Shambhunath Shah, inaugurated the ceremony. He said, "We have a plan to reduce the import of foreign tiles by producing the tiles in the country and meeting the domestic demand as well as exporting them abroad." Likewise, Director at Nepovit, Manoj Prasad Rauniyar, said the tiles will be produced in Nepali design. He said it will also create employment opportunities for Nepalis. The factory of Nepovit was established in 2022. It is located in Jitpursimara Sub-metropolitan City-8 of Bara district in Madhes Province. READ ALSO:
