KATHMANDU: Nepal Economic Forum (NEF) in partnership with the Institute of South Asian Studies – National University of Singapore (ISAS-NUS), is set to organise 'Neftalk' titled 'Nepal and the World’ in Kathmandu, on coming November 11.
With this edition of 'Neftalk', NEF will bring perspectives on looking at Nepal and the world through four prominent speakers — C Raja Mohan, Director, ISAS; Kul Chandra Gautam, former Assistant Secretary-General, United Nations Advisory Board Member, NEF; Nicola Pollitt, Ambassador, the United Kingdom to Nepal and Sneh Rajbhandari, Member, World Economic Forum RSB for South Asia Advisory Board Member, NEF.
In addition, 'Neftalk' is expected to provide with perspective on the impact of COVID-19 in Nepal which is also one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change, and has been witnessing natural disasters that have impacted lives and livelihoods. Moreover, the speakers will focus on some major innovations, youth taking leadership positions and people recalibrating their lives to move on.
NEF, in its 11 years of establishment, has been continuously tracking the megatrends in Nepal as well as analysing the impact of a pandemic, natural disasters and the country's evolving bilateral and multilateral relations.
'Neftalk' will take place at Himalaya Grand Ballroom, Hotel Himalaya, Kathmandu, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
