Nepal-India Franchise & Investment Expo Summit and Award 2020 – a virtual exhibition held

The nation’s leading investment and franchise business network, Nepal Franchise streamed “Nepal-India Franchise & Investment Expo Summit Award 2020” live event at nepalfranchise.com from November 2 to 4 for franchisers, CPG start-ups, private labels, packaging and retailers in the Indian and Nepal market. Through this expo, Nepal Franchise aimed to brighten the current bleak future of much-talented youth, followed by a business conference, panel discussion and award ceremony. Organised by the Government of India through the Embassy of India, FNCCI and nepalfranchise.com, this virtual event had been connecting Indian brands and businesses aiming expansion through franchising, distribution, dealership, licensing or any other kind of partnership with local Nepali investors. These three days of business and expansion opportunities were the comeback that businesses in both countries sought. Sounding purposeful about driving the first such event in the country, Chairman of Nepal Franchise, Diwesh Bothra, a second generation entrepreneur of Nepal said, “Nepalfranchise.com has been at the forefront of innovation and we are happy to bring to you Nepal’s first virtual Expo. This is the first of its kind in the country, where the experience of going through an expo will be simulated virtually, similar to an on-ground event.” Around 2000+ aspiring businessmen and pre-qualified investors along with 20+ award nominee had attended the virtual expo and 70 plus prospective franchises and Indian brands showcased different brands representing different industries such as education, fashion and lifestyle, e-commerce, health and hygiene, start-ups, wellness, real estate, technology, food tech among others. The first day of the event started with participation of Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Ambassador of India to Nepal; Bhawani Rana, President of FNCCI; Maha Prasad Adhikar, Governor of Nepal; Dr Varun Chaudhary, Executive Director CG Corp Global; Motilal Dugar, Ministry of Commerce, Industries and Supplies; State Minister Lekh Raj Bhatta; Khapidwaja Pratap Singh, Second Secretary, Commerce of the Embassy of India and Diwesh Bothra, CEO of NepalFranchise.com as speakers.
