Nepse continues falling; market drops by 88.73 points on Sunday to close at 2,361.24

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index on Sunday closed at 2,361.24 points with a decline of 88.73 points. The benchmark index declined by 3.62% points today. Similarly, the sensitive index has dropped by 3.26% or 15.17 points landing at 450.06 points and the float index decreased by 3.66% or 6.16 points to 162.01 points. A total of 7,460,874 shares of 318 listed firms were traded today at the country’s sole secondary market through 51,844 transactions. The total turnover today stood at more than Rs 3.38 billion.
