NNBF submits memo to Finance Minsiter Paudel; demands single-digit interest rate

KATHMANDU: The Nepal National Businesspersons' Federation has submitted a memorandum to Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, demanding that banks limit interest rates to a single digit. The delegation from the federation met Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Paudel at the latter's office in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu and urged for maintaining single-digit interest rate. The delegation argued that the entrepreneurs and businesspersons were in a condition to quit the business due to exorbitant interest rates. READ ALSO:
