
KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products including petrol, diesel and kerosene.
The price of fuel has been increased by Rs 3 per litre to take the retail price of diesel and kerosene to Rs 175 per litre and petrol to Rs 178 per litre.
However, the price of aviation fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remains unchanged, as per the statement issued by the NOC.
The NOC has hiked fuel prices stating that the Indian Oil Corporation has increased prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by Rs 8.01, Rs 7.98, Rs 4.61 and Rs 7.80 per litre respectively, on the list sent on February 1.
Prior to this, the state-owned trading enterprise that imports, stores and distributes petroleum products, had reduced the price of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation turbine fuel (ATF) — domestic and international — by Rs 3 per litre, on January 9, 2023.
