Antarprerana Pvt. Ltd. successfully conducted the Creative Business Cup Nepal on 5 September 2018 at Soaltee Crowne Plaza. A total of 200 applications were received; among them 15 companies participated in the competition’s final round to receive the chance to win the cup and get an opportunity to participate and represent Nepal in the Global Creative Business Cup 2018 being held in Copenhagen, Denmark in November 2018.
Paila Technology was declared the winners of the Creative Business Cup Nepal. The company was founded in 2016 by a group of engineering students passionate about humanoid service robots and providing Artificial Intelligence solutions in and outside the country. As the winner of CBC Nepal; Paila Technology received an opportunity to pitch their business idea in November in Copenhagen, Denmark, where they will be competing alongside other national winners from over a hundred countries for a chance to win 7000 Euros and other special facilities.
Creative Business Cup (CBC) is a global year-round initiative that empowers entrepreneurs in the creative industries, connects them to investors and global markets and strengthens their innovative capabilities towards the benefit of industry and society.
The event was supported by various institutions like ‘Society of Economic Journalists Nepal’ (SEJON), ‘CG Holdings’, ‘Golcha Organization’ and ‘Nepal Youth Entrepreneurs Forum’ among others. The evaluation committee for the event consisted of jury members representing diverse sectors including Mrs. Ambica Shrestha, Mr. Prateek Pradhan, Mrs. Anupama Khunjeli, Mr. Williem Grimminick to name a few.
