PATA Nepal Chapter concludes Futsal tournament 2023

KATHMANDU: Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter, in collaboration with Little Angels' College of Management (LACM), organised the PATA-LA Futsal Tournament from January 9 to 11, 2023 at LA Futsal ground, Hattiban, Lalitpur. The futsal tournament, as a part of the 5th Youth Talent Quest, was organised to facilitate and enhance opportunities for networking, team building and rewards, and recognition among PATA Nepal Chapter members. Nine teams representing PATA Nepal members including Soaltee Hotel, Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE), Mid-Valley International College (MVIC), Global College Int'l (GCI), Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), International School of Tourism and Hotel Management (IST) and LACM made active participation in the tournament. The winning team was rewarded with a trophy, medals, certificates, and a cash prize of Rs 20,000, along with rafting trip to Trishuli/Bhotekoshi hosted by Trekking Venue Nepal. Similarly, the first runner-up team received a trophy, medals, certificates, a cash prize of Rs 10,000, and round-trip cable car tickets hosted by Chandragiri Hills. [gallery columns="2" link="file" size="full" ids="32377,32376"] In the tournament, LACM's Sijan Khadka and Rahul Khadka were awarded as the best goalkeeper and the best player respectively. They were awarded trophies and certificates and were rewarded with round-trip cable car and luncheon hosted by Chandragiri Hills. The tournament was also supported by Manakamana Cable Car, Nabil Bank, Buddha Air, KGH Group of Hotels, Seven Lakes Resort, Chandragiri Hills Resort, Community Homestay, Highground Adventure Nepal, and Trekking Venue Nepal. Public Speaking Competition, the last competition under the 5th Youth Talent Quest, will be held on 30th January alongside the Destination Marketing Conclave (DMC), the upcoming event by PATA Nepal Chapter, in Itahari, Province 1.
