KATHMANDU: Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter is set to organise 'Nepal Sales Mission 2022' in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, on August 1.
Nepal Sales Mission-2022 is going to be organised with the objective of helping the post-Covid 19 tourism revival campaign. According to PATA Nepal, 20 tourism entrepreneurs affiliated with PATA Nepal, and professionals will participate in the sales mission to be held in collaboration with Nepal Airlines Corporation, Thai Travel Agents Association, SS Group Thailand and Jawalakhel Group of Industries.
Similarly, more than 4o stakeholders associated with the tourism sector, Thai Travel Agents and Tour Operators, and media will also participate in the mission.
As per the press statement issued by PATA Nepal Chapter, Nepali Ambassador to Thailand, Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, will be the chief guest of the Nepal Sales Mission while CEO of PATA International, Liz Ortiguera, will participate as the special guest and keynote speaker.
PATA Nepal Chapter Chairman Bibhuti Chand Thakur expressed his belief that the sales mission will be the best forum to promote tourism potential between Nepal and Thailand, with Gautam Buddha International Airport already in operation.
The event will take place at Rembrandt Hotel & Suites Bangkok, Thailand.
Similarly, a Nepali delegation will also participate in the 'Sixth PATA Destination Marketing Forum' to be held in Thailand from August 2 to 4.
