KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also Chairperson of Investment Board Nepal, today made public the Project Bank Directory prepared by IBN for the purpose of preparing a list of technically and economically feasible investable projects to be implemented in public-private partnership (PPP).
During the inauguration of the Sustainable Infrastructure Investment Forum (SIIF, 2022) organised by IBN, PM Deuba also launched the One Stop Service (OSS) Digital System prepared to facilitate investors. Investors can get information and inquire about investments through this digital platform. The platform will connect all agencies related to investment and provide prompt and effective services.

In the inauguration session, PM Deuba unveiled the study report 'Establishing a Fertiliser Plant in Nepal' prepared by IBN for the establishment of a chemical fertiliser plant in Nepal. The study report presents a comparative study of the operation of fertiliser plants with electrolysis and natural gas.
Addressing the inauguration programme, PM Deuba thanked the Office of Investment Board Nepal for attracting and facilitating investment. Nepal should prepare the means to achieve the goal of zero carbon emissions by 2045, said Deuba and called on the development partners to increase cooperation to achieve this goal.

The Office of Investment Board Nepal has been organising promotional programmes, road shows, project showcasing, investment conferences at home and abroad to promote investments. After the opening ceremony in SIIF 2022, parallel session and main session programmes will be conducted.
