Butwal Sub-Metropolis brings budget of Rs 2.36 billion

LUMBINI: Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City has brought a budget of Rs 2.36 billion for the fiscal year 2023/24. Deputy Mayor Sabitra Devi Aryal presented the budget at the 13th municipal assembly of the Sub-Metropolis on Sunday. As per the budget, the equalisation grant to be received from the federal government is Rs 317 million, while the conditional grant is Rs 479 million, complementary grant is Rs 8 million and special grant is Rs 200 million. Similarly, the Sub-Metropolis has estimated an equalisation grant of Rs 23 million from Lumbini Province government while the conditional grant is Rs 20.9 million, and equalisation grant is Rs 20 million. The revenue sharing is estimated to have grant of Rs 318 million while internal income is estimated at Rs 910 million. Butwal Sub-Metropolis has prioritised education, health, tourism, employment, industry and trade. The sub-metropolis has included programmes of sanitation and greenery in the city. By RSS READ ALSO:
