Chaudhary Foundation holds expert meet for Doing Good Index

KATHMANDU: Chaudhary Foundation held an Expert Meeting for the Doing Good Index in Kathmandu today. Nepal has made an improvement from Not Doing Enough to Doing Okay in 2022 based on the research done by the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS),  a research and advisory non-profit organisation based in Hong Kong and working throughout Asia. Group discussions were held on regulations, tax and fiscal policy, ecosystem, procurement and the role of digital technology in the social sector. Merina Ranjit of the Chaudhary Foundation facilitated the discussion with members of various organisations. The deliberations will be encompassed in the 2024 Doing Good Index report that covers 18 economies in Asia. There is a $1,500 billion funding gap to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Asia at the current time. READ ALSO:
