KATHMANDU: Norvic International Hospital has introduced various offers on health packages to mark its 30th anniversary.
The hospital laid the foundation of quality and world-class healthcare services in the country 30 years ago, on Chaitra 30 of the Lunar calendar.
Basant Chaudhary established Norvic International Hospital in 1993 to provide world-class medical services in Nepal under BLC (Bhuramal Lunkarandas Conglomerate) Holdings. Today, Norvic has established itself as one of the best critical care hospitals in the country.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, the hospital expressed gratitude to all the supporters including the media.
Norvic is the first hospital in Nepal to be accredited and meet ISO 9001M2015 standards with high-tech laboratory services. It is also the first private sector hospital in the country to establish a cath lab. The hospital provides standard invasive and non-invasive cardiac facilities. It is also the first private hospital in the country to have a National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and the first healthcare institution to implement a waste management system.
At a press meet organised by the hospital on the occasion, the hospital informed that its services will be expanded in the near future in the multi-faceted and state-of-the-art building currently being constructed on its own land. Likewise, the oxygen plant, generator service and mortuary operated on the leased government land for the past 15 years will also be transferred to the new building.
Meanwhile, Norvic International Hospital has offered 30% discount on all health packages for one week from April 14 to 21. The hospital has also offered 30% discount on Laser and HydraFacial; IVF (Fertility package); and mammography for 30 days.
The hospital has also decided to introduce a special health package for journalists' families in the near future.
