Qatar Airways Celebrates Kathmandu Recognition

In order to celebrate Kathmandu being selected as the fifth Must See City in the World by Lonely Planet, on October 25 Qatar Airways organised a function to celebrate this mammoth recognition with the participation of Nepal Tourism Board, NATTA and the travel fraternity of Kathmandu.

Addressing the event, Qatar Airways Country Manager Jayaprakash Nair praised the efforts of NTB, NATTA and the travel fraternity for this recognition which would further increase tourism movement to the county and Nepal’s dream of getting two million tourists in 2020.

NTB CEO Deepak Raj Joshi said that this was the successful outcome of the joint efforts of the government, NTB, airlines and the travel and tourism fraternity.
