Santosh Lamichanne selected as second Glocal Teen Hero

In strategic alliance with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, WaiWai, B.P. Koirala India Nepal Foundation of Embassy of India, and UNDP, Glocal organised the Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero 2016 where SantoshLamichhane, 18, from Lalitpur was recognised as the Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero 2016. Among 281 applications, the top six were selected by a panel of jury on basis of their innovation, impact and achievements. Six finalists were then interviewed individually on the basis of their personality, domain of knowledge and vision. It is a platform for Nepali teenagers aged 13-19 years who are involved, initiators and achievers besides their school/college curriculum, says a press release from Glocal.
