SPG Automobiles launches Chery’s flagship model Tiggo 8 Pro

KATHMANDU: SPG Automobiles, the sole authorised distributor for Chery Cars in Nepal, has officially launched Tiggo 8 pro which is a flagship model for the brand. Chery Tiggo 8 PRO embodies Chery's technology and comes packed with the combination of 1.6TGDI and 7DCT — both listed among the top 10 in their respective category. The full LED luxury lighting set has been provided as a standard for the whole family and includes exclusive luxury leather seats. Chery Automobile has made its efforts to build this model a new generation of "luxuriously decorative terrestrial flight cockpit". In terms of power, the Chery Tiggo 8 PRO is equipped with 1.6L Turbocharge Gasoline Direct-Injection (1.6TGDI) engine, a super powerful "China Heart" engine, and GETRAG's 7 speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). Specifically, 1.6TGDI was listed among the "China Heart Ten Best Engines in 2019, with a maximum power of 145kW/197ps and a peak torque of 290Nm. With the same standards as those for evaluating aero engine technology and cutting-edge technologies such as Chery IHEC (smart) combustion system, the 1.6TGDI engine with the intelligent start-stop (ISS) function perfectly matches with the 7DCT to bring outstanding acceleration and ultra-low fuel consumption. This allows Chery Tiggo 8 PRO to accelerate to 100km/h in 8.9 seconds, and the fuel consumption is as low as 6.8L per 100 kilometres. Tiggo 8 pro body has a dimension of (L*W*H) of 4722×1858×1746mm. In terms of appearance, the Tiggo 8 PRO is a new generation of family-style "Peak Grille" design concept, on which the matrix diamond-like front grille design represents a unique, three-dimensional and hard-edged visual effect along with the full LED headlamps with Integrated Dynamic Turning Signals. It is equipped with the 18" alloy rims which comes. with Tyre Pressure monitoring system, memory enable mirrors, stylish LED Brake Lights and LED Tail lamps with sequential turn signals, reshaping the flagship visual experience with artistic beauty and high technology. It has an impressive ground clearance of 196mm which makes it suitable for all terrains. Talking about the interiors it is designed with the luxuriously decorative terrestrial flight cockpit design which is equipped with a cutting-edge technology such as the Sony Sound System, Bluetooth Connectivity, Cruise Control all of which can be controlled with the fingertip or an intelligent voice command on the multi-function steering wheel with four adjustment settings. Tiggo 8 pro HD floating centre LCD screen has a resolution up to 1920x720. The LCD screen in Tiggo 8 pro communicates with your phone as well as the instrument panel, displaying multimedia, driving information, and other functions. The combination of a mobile phone, an LCD instrument panel, and a high-definition touch screen creates a more comfortable, user-friendly, and safer driving experience, along with the wireless charger on the car. The eye-catching 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment system as well as 8-inch LCD air conditioner system technologically make a triple-screen interaction.
