KATHMANDU: Syakar Trading Company (STC), authorised distributor and retailer of Honda motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, has been appointed as authorised OEM distributor of Tata Green Batteries for Honda Motorcycle and Scooters, Honda Power Products and Honda Motors (Automotive) in Nepal.

At a programme organized in Kathmandu today, Anil Bhamre, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Tata AutoComp GY Batteries, said, "Tata Green Batteries is one of the biggest suppliers of two-wheeler batteries in India to major OEMs like Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI), Yamaha, TVS, Jawa, Suzuki and Piaggio. We wish to replicate India’s success story in Nepal too, by associating with STC which is a well-known name in the region and strongly believe that this tie-up will be a major boost for the growth of Tata Green Batteries in Nepal."

Today TGY supplies to leading auto OEMs across two-wheeler, three-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles, off-road and Genset, E-rickshaw and commercial vehicle spaces in India.
