'The Best Young Neurosurgeon Award' bestowed upon Dr Sumit Joshi

KATHMANDU: Dr Sumit Joshi of Nepal Mediciti hospital has been conferred ‘the Best Young Neurosurgeon Award’.

During the third International Conference of Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons (INCONESON III) held in Kathmandu on November 26 and 27, Dr Joshi had presented a paper that was determined excellent.

A certificate of ‘The Best Young Neurosurgeon Award’ along with a purse of Rs 50,000 was conferred on Dr Joshi by Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons (NESON) President Dr Krishna Sharma and General Secretary of the organisation Dr Rajiv Jha during the programme.

Dr Joshi received the award amid the presentation of national and international neurosurgeons during the programme that aimed at expanding the experience and expertise of neurosurgery.

Dr Joshi is a Neurovascular, Spine and Skull Base Surgeon under the Department of Neurosurgery at Nepal Mediciti.
