Toastmasters International conducted first ever speech contest in Nepal

Toastmasters International conducted its first ever speech contest at the Nepal Tourism Board office. Two contests were conducted: Humorous Speech and Evaluation Speech under the guidance of the Area Directors Toastmaster Ranjit Acharya and Suman Shakya. Eight clubs from the two areas in Kathmandu participated in the speech contest. The whole process of the contests was followed as per TI International guidelines. The winner of the Humorous Speech Contest Area I2 was Seema Golchha from Everest Toastmasters. Manoj Basnet from Everest Toastmasters and Sandeep Adhikary from Kathmandu Toastmasters were announced first and second runners up respectively. The winner of the Evaluation Speech Contest Area I2 was Moon Pradhan from Everest Toastmasters. Diptee Acharya from Everest Toastmasters and Bhanu Dabadi from Kathmandu Toastmasters were announced first aand second runners up respectively. The winner of the Humorous Speech Contest Area I3 was Rabindra Pradhan from Shangri La Toastmasters. Sadiksha Thapa from Himalayan Toastmasters and Michael Siddhi from Shangri-La Toastmasters were announced the first and second runners up respectively. The winner of the Evaluation Speech Contest Area I3 was Sanjay Golchha from Shangri-la Toastmasters. Prashant Shrestha from Himalayan Toastmasters and Ankur Jhunjhunwala from Shangri-la Toastmasters were announced first and second runners up respectively.
