TVS Apache RTR 160 4V RTFI BS-VI model launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors today launched all-new Apache RTR 160 4V RTFI with BS-VI amid a ceremony held at Purple Haze Rock Bar in Thamel, Kathmandu.

The two-wheeler was launched at the ceremony in the presence of various media houses, celebrities, various Nepali moto vloggers and representatives of Jagdamba Motors. The event also featured a live music performance by the popular Nepali Band, Cobweb.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V RTFI was a long-awaited motorcycle in Nepal with the first and best-in-class features such as 3 ride modes (Rain, Urban and Sport), making it easier for riders to adapt to any riding conditions. The motorcycle produces 17.55PS power @ 9250 rpm in Sports mode and 15.64PS power @ 8600rpm in Urban and Rain modes. Similarly, it produces 14.73Nm torque @ 7250rpm and 14.14Nm torque @ 7250 rpm in Urban and Rain mode. The ride modes optimize the power and ABS setting to adapt to any riding conditions.

The motorcycle is equipped with Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RTFI) technology with BS-VI compliant engine that helps in better fuel economy, enhanced power delivery, improved engine durability and better emissions control. This technology makes the motorcycle durable and environmentally friendly. It also houses technology like SmartXConnect that displays multiple information regarding the ride and connects to the rider’s smartphone through Bluetooth. Additionally, the motorcycle has first in segment features like aggressive DRL headlamps, ABS and many more.

The representatives from TVS Motor Company-India congratulated Jagdamba Motors for their success with TVS in Nepal and wished success for the upcoming TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in the Nepali market. They mentioned that this motorcycle is their approach to bringing the ‘Big Bike’ features to the 150cc segment and it will revolutionise this segment in Nepal as well as all across the globe with its best-in-class features.

During the launch event, Shahil Agarwal, Chairman of Jagdamba Motors, thanked the Nepali market for their love and affection towards TVS and talked about the new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V RTFI BSVI. He said, ‘We are excited to launch a product with such loaded features in Nepal. The Nepali market has been long awaiting this motorcycle and we have been receiving queries for this motorcycle for a long time. This is the first time an automobile brand has come up with a product in this segment with this many features. This will obviously mark a new dawn in the entry-level motorcycle segment in Nepal.’
