TVS organises AOG Ride from Morang to Sunsari

KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, the sole distributor of the popular two-wheeler company TVS, called out a group of Apache riders to participate in the rich and exciting — Apache Owners Group (AOG) Ride. TVS completed their first ride to Aqua Bird Eco Resort with 35 participants on Saturday. The ride started from Mahendra Chowk and went on to Neta Chowk – Birat Chowk- Itahari-Inaruwa and concluded in Aqua Bird Eco Resort in Koshi Tappu, Sunsari district. More than 200 riders had filled in application forms for participation in AOG. However, only 35 of them were selected for this ride. TVS also mentioned that the remaining riders who registered for the edition will be featured in other future editions of this chapter. TVS organises various programmes and adventure rides for its customers. Not just that, the participants also have the opportunity to be a part of upcoming international events that are on the tunnel. The ride was supervised by experienced marshals and the riders were given various road and safety training. TVS provided free riding gears to all riders and participants in this AOG Ride. It also held a variety of exciting games for riders and prizes were distributed to the winners. All TVS participants were presented gifts and certificates. Furthermore, participants of the AOG ride also got a chance to feed the elephants near Aqua Bird Eco Resort. More than 537 species of birds arrive in flocks from Europe to the Koshi Tappu area during autumn in Nepal. Prashant Rajbhandari, Product Manager, TVS motorcycle, said, "We are overwhelmed by the number of people interested in the AOG ride. The main objective of this ride is to strengthen the group of Apache riders in Nepal and try to keep our customers even closer. We will come up with other similar events in the future. ‘’ Sandip Pokhrel, a participant who visited Aqua Bird Eco Resort on the AOG ride shared, "I had a great time at AOG. We learned a lot of riding techniques from Marshall and met new friends. It's a pleasure to meet Apache lovers like myself and participate in a ride like this in Biratnagar. I hope that TVS will continue to organise such events in the coming days. Overall, this was a great ride for me. " Jagdamba Motors is the only official distributor for TVS two-wheelers in Nepal.
