UTS announces winners of ’16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest’

KATHMANDU: United Traders Syndicate (UTS) announced the winners of the '16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest' on Monday. The winners were awarded prizes and certificates amid a ceremony held at the VOITH complex. UTS Director Bed Bahadur Shrestha, Senior Director Kailash Bhakta Raj Bhandari, Head of Spares Parts Department Rekha Shah Karki and Jury members Sangi Shrestha and Sarita Shrestha handed over prizes and trophies to the winners at the ceremony. The national contest took place from December 2022 to January 2023, which saw 485 participants from 16 different schools. Among the entries, the top three artworks from each entry category were selected as winners, and entered as representatives of Nepal into the World Contest 2023, to be held in Japan. The contest invites children from all corners of the globe to share ideas about the future of mobility by drawing their dream cars. Every great idea was born in the glimmer of a dream, and Toyota hopes that this activity will help nurture the creativity of the next generation of great inventors, thinkers and dreamers. Toyota has countless CSR programmes on a global scale but there are some that stand out and some that are concentrated on the generation which is expected to make the future of Toyota. The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest was conceived in 2004 with the goal to enable children around the world to feel joy and shed the importance of having dreams. Toyota Nepal has been participating in this competition for over a decade. READ ALSO:
