WHO Director-General to arrive in Nepal tomorrow

KATHMANDU: World Health Organisation (WHO) Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will visit Nepal on April 21. "At the invitation of Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of World Health Organisation (WHO) will visit Nepal from April 21 to 23, 2022," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement. During the three-day visit to Nepal, Dr Tedros will be accompanied by Regional Director of WHO South-East Asia Regional Office Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh and other officials of WHO, according to the MoFA. During Nepal visit, Dr Tedros will call on President  Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister  Sher Bahadur Deuba, and  Chairperson of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina. The visiting Director-General will also meet Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka and Health Minister Khatiwada. READ ALSO:
