KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers decided to manage the teachers and other employees who were dismissed due to political bias, conflict and agitation.
The cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's Official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu managed 586 teachers and other staff.
As per the cabinet decision, 233 teachers will be reappointed. The meeting also decided to appoint 18 teachers, provide service facility for 41 teachers and lump sum financial assistance for 284 others.
The cabinet took the decision in this regard as per the report submitted by a task force formed under the chairmanship of former Chief Justice of the then Court of Appeal, Govind Prasad Parajuli, on December 11, 2016.
