KATHMANDU: Glocal concluded activation programme held at schools in different cities of all seven provinces in Nepal to inform about Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2022.
GTH is an initiation of Glocal, a business enterprise working in the areas of training, education, and skilling, that honours and elevates teenagers by allowing them to share their passion and creativity. It is a platform that recognises teenagers who are doing something beyond their academics and are active to create a positive effect on society.
Many talented teenagers were found during interaction programmes held at different schools across the country, the organisers said and added they were making preparations to identify the talented teenagers this year.
Kajal Jha Thakur, Global Lead of GTH Programme says, “Like previous years, this year we reached different places in Nepal in search of talented teenagers. A platform that respects and recognises the work of teenagers, continues to work towards the eighth edition of Glocal Teen Hero, and it feels like we are energised.”
GTH is a platform that not only recognises the work of teenagers but also helps them to show their talents.
Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero is a fully-funded programme where teenagers (13 to 19 years) from Nepal can apply online for free. Besides, one can also nominate incredible teenagers they know in their community. The last date for the submission of the application is July 31, 2022.
This year's Glocal Teen Hero Nepal will be announced at an award programme and conference to be held on September 1, 2022.
