President, PM congratulate new President-elect of India

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has offered her heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Droupadi Murmu for being elected as the 15th President of India.

मित्रराष्ट्र गणतन्त्र भारतका पन्ध्रौँ राष्ट्रपति निर्वाचित हुनुभएकोमा महामहिम द्रौपदी मुर्मूज्यूलाई म हार्दिक बधाई तथा शुभकामना ज्ञापन गर्न चाहन्छु । यहाँको कार्यकालमा हाम्रा दुई देश बिचको सहकार्यले नयाँ उचाई प्राप्त गर्नेमा म पूर्ण विश्‍वास व्यक्त गर्दछु ।

"I fully believe that the cooperation between two countries will reach new heights during your tenure," the President wrote on Twitter. In a similar tweet message, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba offered congratulations to Murmu on being elected as the President of India.
