Chinese Communist Party leader Liu calls on President Bhandari

KATHMANDU: The Head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party, Liu Jianchao, paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari. The courtesy meeting was held at the Office of the President of Nepal in Shital Niwas, Kathmandu today. Photo: RSS[/caption] The visiting Chinese Communist Party leader who is on a four-day official visit to Nepal arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning. He is leading an eight-member delegation. Liu paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday. The Chinese leader also held meetings with various political leadership here including CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and main opposition party CPN (UML) chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
