KU to study feasibility of fertiliser factory

KATHMANDU: An agreement has been signed between Bagmati Province government and Kathmandu University to study the feasibility of urea fertiliser production. An agreement was signed between the provincial Ministry of Livestock and Poultry Development and the University on Thursday. Minister for Livestock Development Basundhara Humagain and Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Bhola Thapa, signed the agreement to conduct a feasibility study and detailed project report on urea fertiliser production, the ministry said. Minister Humagain shared that the process of setting up a urea fertiliser factory will be taken forward on the basis of the feasibility study that will be completed within six months. READ ALSO:
