Rudra Raj Sahitya Sewa Samiti felicitates Nepali on his contribution to history

KATHMANDU: Rudra Raj Sahitya Sewa Samiti today felicitated historian and littérateur Chittaranjan Nepali on his contribution to Nepali history. A felicitation ceremony was organised on the auspicious occasion of the 122nd Anniversary of Sardar Rudra Raj Pande in Kathmandu today. [gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file" ids="20664"] The first Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University, Professor Dr Suresh Raj Sharma, was the chief guest in the ceremony. Historian Prof Dr Triratna Manandhar shed light on the contribution of Sardar Rudra Raj Pande in the field of education, history, literature and spirituality. Dr Govinda Tandon as convenor of the award committee spoke on the contribution made by Chittaranjan Nepali in the field of History. On the occasion, chief guest Prof Dr Sharma reminisced on the formative days of Tribhuvan University on the able leadership of Sardar Rudra Raj Pande as Vice-Chancellor. The programme was presided by the Acting Chairman of Rudra Raj Sahitya Sewa Samiti Dr Gouri Shankar Lal Das. Govinda Prasad Sharma Regmi, the secretary of the Samiti, welcomed the participants and shed light on its activities. A vote of thanks was given by Dr Badri Raj Pande. The samiti has been felicitating national personalities in the field of education, literature, history and spirituality on a rotation basis yearly. READ ALSO:
