Jyoti Bikash Bank provides baby warmers to Shishuwa Hospital

KATHMANDU: Jyoti Bikash Bank, through its 'Hamro Bikash Pravardhan' fund set up for corporate social responsibility, has provided baby warmers to Shishuwa Hospital in Pokhara Metropolitan City-30, Kaski district. The baby warmers provided to the hospital are produced by National Innovation Centre. Vishal Lamichhane, Head of Jyoti Bikash Bank Pokhara Area and the bank's Talchok Branch Manager Sagar Mani Bhandari formally handed over the baby warmers to Dr Narayan Ojha, president of the hospital's management committee amid a programme organised at the hospital. Previously, the hospital doctors, nurses among other staff were given special training on the operation of baby warmers. Jyoti Bikash Bank has been working on social responsibility through its fund in coordination with various social organisations and citizens, guided by the basic objective of identifying the latent potentials in the Nepali society at the local level and exposing such potentials. Earlier, on the occasion of Jyoti Bikash Bank’s 13th anniversary, the bank provided assistance to the National Innovation Centre’s “Warm Baby” Project-2 promoted by Dr Mahabir Pun for the cooperation of making 12 baby warmers and handing them over to various rural and inaccessible health institutions in the country. Jyoti Bikash Bank is currently providing services through 111 branch offices, one extension counter and 62 ATMs. READ ALSO:
