KATHMANDU: MiDas Technologies' healthcare app 'Mero Doctor' which has been downloaded by more than 100,000 users has provided services to more than 35,000 patients in a short span of eight months.
In a period of three months, more than 10,000 patients have been able to get hospital services by purchasing the OPD tickets of the hospitals listed in 'Mero Doctor' from home. The service recipients have experienced that they have got rid of the hassle of queuing for tickets and have also saved time.

The company has developed technology to fully digitise the management of hospitals and health institutions based on electronic medical records (EMR). 'Mero Doctor' has been providing online telemedicine services as well as various health services through the mobile app and website — merodoctor.com. Using health services through Mero Doctor, anyone can get video consultations, talk to specialists and general practitioners, get prescribed medications, get hospital OPD. Likewise, the service recipients can pay for tickets, update health profiles, or view their medical records, anywhere and anytime on the device.
With some full-time physicians available at Mero Doctor, patients can get an immediate free consultation on a daily basis from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Moreover, it has been providing online tele-consultancy services to interested patients through more than 250 specialist doctors.
