KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has vowed to solve the problems being faced by hotel entrepreneurs.
Minister Ale also said he would take initiative to address the problems the hotel entrepreneurs have been facing from the registration of hotels to making favourable policies. He was saying it while addressing the ninth annual general meeting (AGM) of Ekata Hotel and Guesthouse Entrepreneurs' Association in Kathmandu, on Saturday.
The hotels and guesthouses have significant roles to promote the tourism sector, he said, adding that the problems could be solved with the cooperation between the Ministry and hotel entrepreneurs.
At the programme, the hoteliers and guesthouse owners demanded the Minister to pay attention to amend Tourism Act 2035 and launch schemes to restore the small and mid-scale hotels and guesthouses that suffered the worst due to Covid 19 pandemic.
