Prime Minister Dahal inspects Kathmandu-Tarai fast track

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal conducted an onsite inspection of the under-construction Kathmandu-Tarai fast track today. The Nepali Army has been engaged in the construction of the national pride project. PM Dahal gave this responsibility to the NA during his second term. A team comprising Prime Minister Dahal, and high-ranking government officials visited different sections of the project, according to PM Dahal's Secretariat. Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Prakash Jwala, Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat, Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, Government Secretaries and Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Prabhu Ram Sharma were also in the inspection team. The 72.5-kilometre fast track is the shortest route that connects Kathmandu with Tarai and it is being constructed by the management of the NA. READ ALSO:
