Policy issues in advertisement sector will be addressed soon: Minister Rijal

KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal pledged to support the advertisement industry by putting in place appropriate policies. Addressing the general assembly of the National Advertisement Association in Kathmandu today, Minister Rijal asserted, "Foreign goods are sold here but not advertised. The government will bring this issue under the scope of the law and will support in the publicity of foreign goods through advertisement-related policy." He suggested the association further streamline the advertisement sector and take it forward in an advanced way. Similarly, Dharmendra Kaji Shrestha, President of the Ad Hoc Committee of the Association, shared that the association was working in the best interest of the advertisement agencies across the country and pledged to do so in the coming days as well. "We, in a short span of time, left no stone unturned to address the problems being faced by our member agencies. We are effortful to earn foreign currency by attracting foreign advertisements," added Shrestha. The general assembly will elect a new executive committee for a two-year term. By RSS READ ALSO:
