NAWALPUR: The First Nawalpur Food, Tourism, Culture and Trade Festival will be held in Kawasoti Municipality in Nawalpur district (Bardaghat-Susta East) from December 23 to January 1.
The festival to be organised by the Hotel Entrepreneurs Association, Nawalpur will feature a display of indigenous food items, paragliding, jungle safari in the buffer zone of the Chitwan National Park and boating in the Narayani river, said President of the Association, Santosh Rana.
Meanwhile, construction of the exhibition place at the playground in Kawasoti-8, and publicity programmes are underway, he said. About 200 stalls will be put up for the event.
Under the event, paragliders will fly from Baluwadanda to Hattikhor. A paraglider will spend around 25 minutes in the sky. Around 35 flights will be operated on a daily basis and for that, five pilots have been managed, said the organiser.
